10th Madurai International Documentary and Short Film Festival 200826-30 November 2008, Madurai
Jointly organized by educational and media institutions, voluntary organizations, film societies, cultural and theatre groups and plenty of good hearts.
It is a non-funded festival. Completely run with donations and voluntary support.

Language: Films not in Tamil language should have subtitles in English
Screening Format: DVD
No entry fee; Non competitive film festival; No restriction in language, country, format, duration, theme and style.
Films produced within last 24 months (approximately) to be screened.
No screening fee will be paid.
Films will not be returned.
Last date to send the entry: 15 September 2008
Selection committee comprising of senior filmmakers, writers, artists, activists, film fans will decide the list of films to be screened at the festival.
Selection committee recommendation will be announced on 15 October 2008
* Entries are invited only for International, Rest of India and Films from Tamilnadu sections only.
Materials to be sent along with the signed and filled entry form:
a) 2 DVD copies of the film
b) Soft copy in a CD form of stills, synopsis, filmography and photo of the filmmaker
c) Hard copy of publicity materials such as posters, invitations and photos
